John Barber
John Barber Obituary
John Barber, age 60, passed away Nov. 17, 2025, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 27, 1964, to the late Carl Dorsey Barber Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Austin Barber. John was a cook at Stewart Home and School. One of his greatest times was taking his grandchildren fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sons, John Garnette and Christopher R. Barber; a brother, Larry Barber (Peggy); grandchildren, Atreus Barber and Emery Huff-Roland.
Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by his siblings, Carl Dorsey Barber Jr., Debra Jean Green, Hazel Faye Martin and Clarice A. Burch.
A celebration of his life will be held on Nov. 21, from 5-8 p.m. at the Frankfort Plant Board Club House in Frankfort.
Noon & Son Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with final care.

I worked at Farmer's Kitchen with Johnny, many moons ago. He was so much fun to work with, I have so many good memories from that time because of him. He was a hard worker but would cut up with you just as much! I am truly saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family.

Johnny B was a good man and friend. We worked many days and nights together at Waffle House. He always had a smile and worked hard. He will be missed.
