Betty Beckwith Obituary

Betty Sue Beckwith, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, was born on March 8, 1938 in Walters to Floyd Azeltine and Ulla (Miller) Azeltine. She passed from this life in Oklahoma City on November 13, 2025 at the age of 87. Betty loved all things outdoors, and passed much of her time hunting, fishing, gardening, and camping. At heart, she was a lover of all animals, but especially her cats and her puppy dog, Snuggles. Betty loved to watch a beautiful sunset with her husband. Above all else, Betty cherished time spent with her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husband: William F. Beckwith; parents: Floyd and Ulla Azeltine; sister: Hazel Lee Jurgens; and children: Russell Bishop and Billy Joe Bishop. Betty is survived by her children: Grant Beckwith of Antlers, Kelli and Adam East of Oklahoma City, Rebecca Cowell of Choctaw, Floyd Beckwith of Antlers, and Melinda Brooks of Kansas; grandchildren: Niki Canup, Alexis Canup, Dilland Beckwith, Haiden Canup, Shylah Canup, and Levi and Keyliee Beckwith.
