Edward Wilkerson passed from this life on December 31, 2020 in Antlers. He was born on February 10, 1935 in Spencerville to Jack Wilkerson and Mary Irene (Fatherree) Wilkerson. Ed spent many years in Oregon working for a lumber company.  After moving to Rattan, he managed his farm and did custom mowing for several people for almost 40 years. He loved going to church and attended the Victory Assembly of God Church in Rattan and Cowboy Church in Hugo. Ed is preceded in death by his wife: Judy Wilkerson; parents: Jack and Mary Irene Wilkerson; brother: Brett Wilkerson; son: Eddy Wilkerson; daughter: Janet Marie; and sisters: Joy, Wanda, Ella, and Maudie. He is survived by his children: Deniece and Diane; step-children: Gary, Ricky, and Darren; and brothers: Willard, Merrel, and Jerry; along with numerous other family and friends. A Celebration of Life for Ed Wilkerson was held at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Victory Assembly of God in Rattan with Reverend Larry Huff officiating. Interment followed at Spencerville Cemetery in Spencerville. Pallbearers were Eugene Wayman, Lee Wayman, Joseph Wayman, Jerry Wilkerson, Mike Wilkerson and Billy Jack Wilkerson.  Honorary pallbearers were Scotty Wayman, Larry Benzine, Roy Dunlap and Robert Rhoades. Family night was Monday January 4, 2021 from 6-8PM at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers. Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service of Antlers, Oklahoma.
