Carl Baldowski Obituary
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 2, 2024, from the chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michael Freed officiating.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Baldowski born in Augusta, GA was the son of the late Lillian Etterle Baldowski and the late Christian A. Baldowski. He retired in 2011 from the City of Augusta water department after 35 years. He was a charter member of the Ascension Lutheran Church. He loved fishing, planting flowers, and growing a garden. He was kind, humble, loving and dependable, he was sweet and never met a stranger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Franklin Baldowski (2016) and his brother, Harrell Patrick Baldowski.
In addition to his wife, survivors include her daughter, Megan Baldowski Hutto (Eric); his brother, Allen Baldowski (Eydie); his sisters, Elaine Crawford, and Eldeva Whittle; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Eric Hutto, Patrick Sheldon, Brian Baldowski, Chris Whittle, Tristian Crawford, and Christopher Crawford.
