Joshua Gibbs Obituary
Born and raised in Augusta, Josh lived in Milner for the past several years. He worked as a Production Supervisor at Yancey Engineered Solutions. Known for his infectious personality and sharp wit, Josh had a remarkable ability to make everyone around him smile. Those who knew him best would tell you he was an unforgettable source of laughter.
Josh cherished his family deeply. All who were loved by him knew just how special they were to him. A big kid at heart, he loved building LEGO creations and had a passion for both watching and practicing WWE wrestling. Josh also had a unique love for people-and for Little Debbie Cakes, especially Oatmeal Creme Pies.
A dedicated Young Life leader for many years, Josh profoundly influenced the lives of those around him. His love, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Josh is survived by his parents, Don and Vickie Gibbs; his beloved children, Maddox Gibbs and Knox Gibbs; his brothers, Jonathan Gibbs (Meagan) and Jacob Gibbs (Alison); and his nieces and nephews, Wyatt, Wade, Beau, Georgia, and soon, Mary Catherine.
The family will receive friends and family starting at 1:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Journey Community Church, with Pastors Bobby Smith of Journey Community Church and Pastor Justin Weldon of Rock Springs Church officiating.
Josh's legacy of love, laughter, and faith will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have shared in his life.
