Ruby Simmons Obituary
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors at 2:00 PM with Charles Edward James officiating.
Mrs. Simmons, born in Huntington, W. VA, was the daughter of the late Burnelean Reynolds Davis and the late Ira Davis. She retired as a seamstress from Carole Fabrics. She was a member of Culloden Missionary Baptist Church, Culloden, W. VA.
Survivors include her children, James Thompson, Jr. (Marilyn), Becky Paul, Dennis Thompson (Theresa) Linda Hulsey, Rhonda Scott (Gary); her numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren; her brother Terry Davis (Olive) and her sister Beverlean Deal.
Visitation will be at 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
Memorials contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
