Our dear mother Barbara Gail Wallace sadly passed away on August 8, 2024, at the age of 73. She was an amazing mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom and love in abundance. You never had to worry about what she was thinking because good or bad she would always let you know. The best thing about her was her huge heart. She always put others before herself even up to the end, often giving small tokens of appreciation to those she encountered. She was truly one of the strongest women ever and demonstrated that strength up until her last breath. A friend to many she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and strength. She was predeceased by her husband Truman. She leaves behind daughters Vicky Morales and Lisa Wallace, grandchildren Jasmine Morales and Ransom Skinner, grandson-in-law Juan Rocha, and her beloved cat.
To honor Barbara’s memory, a Memorial Service will be held at Beall Funeral Home @ 6512 Robert S. Crain Hwy, Bowie on September 14, 2024 from 9:30-11:30. Repast to follow at the Bowie Center for the Performing Arts @ 15200 Annapolis Road, Bowie from 12-2.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the following charities that were near and dear to heart.
