On Wednesday October 11, 2023 Carol Ann (Boteler) Halso of Bowie, MD passed from this life after a short fight with cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert J. Halso who passed just five years and seven days before and would have been married thirty-seven years this past September.
She was the proud mother to Jeanne Marie and Shane Tyler and the greatest Grandmother to Axton J. Carpenter.
Carol Ann was born September 14, 1956 in Maryland. The daughter of the late Helen E. Bost and later in life was gifted the greatest step-dad F. Earl Bost.
Carol Ann didn't have many hobbies through out her life, her family and friends were her hobby, but if you didn't find her with her family and friends you could find her snuggled up at home playing her candy crush. The things she cherish most in this life were her children and grandson, they were her light, moon, and stars.
Carol Ann will be greatly missed and that is an understatement. She was a firecracker (and not just because of her fiery red hair) quick witted and all around a treasure to all that knew her, and it had touched her family so much to see how many people truly looked at her as such.
In addition to her children and grandson, Carol Ann is survived by her in-laws: Gerry Halso, Stevie Halso (Allison Halso), Andy Halso, Kristy (Halso) Hickey (Paul Hickey), and Carolyn Halso, as well as numerous nephews, nieces and great-nephews and nieces.
