Daniel Charles Calero

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Daniel Calero (Danny, LiL D), age 41 our beloved son, father, brother, family member and friend passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.

Those who knew Danny, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.

Danny will be missed everyday by his Father, Charlie, his Mother, Sue, Brother Jimmy, Sister Chrissy, his children, Noah, Layla, Lily, Charlie, Nieces Hailey, Makalya and Nephew Jayden.

He was a very devoted father. Lifelong skateboarder, artist and music devotee. He was a true friend to those in his life. He was a deeply spiritual man. Who found his spirituality in the eyes of children, the flip of his skateboard and the truth in his words.

Daniels' heritage to his children wasn't words or possessions, but an unspoken treasure, the treasure of his example as a man and a father.

For Danny skateboarding was a lifestyle and an art form, if he saw a swimming pool, he didn't think of swimming but thought of skating it, as time passed if he saw a swimming pool he thought of his children.

Friends will be received at the Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy, Bowie, Maryland 20715 Wednesday September 6th from 4-7 pm.

Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Christ, 16621 Sylvan Dr. Bowie, Md. 20715. On September 7th at 12PM. Burial to follow at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave. Silver Spring Md. 20906.
