On Tuesday, January 14, 2025 Edwin “Ed” Thomas Stepke of Linthicum Heights, MD passed away peacefully with family by his side. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 61 years, Mary V. Stepke; loving children, Christine M. Mumpower (Matt), Rebecca M. Stepke (Brian), and Gregory A. Stepke (Susan); cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Cassie, Danielle, Colin, Joey, Craig, Tyler, Jordan, Cooper, Emma, Dane and Gage; and adored great-grandchildren, Karston, Jaxon, Isabella and Sarah. He is also survived by his great-great-grandson, Colton; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Martha and William Stepke; brothers Richard, William, Thomas and Charles Stepke; son, Martin J. Stepke; and his granddaughter, Jennifer.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 2nd Avenue, SW ,(at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 6401 S. Orchard Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, MD. If desired, Memorial Contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
