Marjorie Scroggs Obituary

Marjorie E. "Marge" Scroggs, 91, of Marriottsville, MD, formerly of Inverness, FL, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at home. She was born on January 14, 1934, in Baltimore, MD to the late James Tracey and Sadie Ubel Tracey. She was the wife of the late Allen Scroggs, Jr. Marge was employed for several years as a bank teller. She then went on to work as a certified dental assistant/office manager for many years before retirement. She and her late husband spent almost 30 years in Inverness, FL where they made many friends. She enjoyed playing "Words with Friends", spending time with neighbors, watching birds and her cat Katie. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Cathy S. and Donald J. Schroeder of Marriottsville, MD and grandchildren: Rachel A. Maw and husband Alan of Owings Mills, MD, Bryan D. Schroeder and Gina Passarello of Mt. Airy, MD and Emilie Keane McFarland. She was predeceased by daughter Jeanne L. Keane. Funeral services and interment will be private. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Wards Chapel United Methodist Church, 11023 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21136. Online condolences may be offered at www.haightfuneralhome.com
