Richard Perkins Obituary

         On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, Richard “Rich” Arthur Perkins of Severn, MD passed away peacefully with family by his side. He is survived by his beloved wife, Martha “Trudy” C. Perkins; loving children, Kevin Perkins, Nick Perkins (Rachel), Karey Swann (Billy), Kenny Smith (Katie) and Christie Hanna (Bob); cherished grandchildren, Sydney, Dawson, Grayson, Landri, Blakely, Landon, Haydon, Kylie, Kelsie, Kacie, Abby, Jake, Brooks, Karen, Adrienne and Annalee; and his dear siblings, Carolyn Blitz, Nancy Gresen, Penny Seaver, Patricia Roberge. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Rich was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, John and Lanny Perkins.

         Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 2nd Avenue, SW, (at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Monday, Jan. 27th, from 6 - 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, 11 AM, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 6401 S. Orchard Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090. Interment will follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD where Rich will receive military honors. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Hospice of the Chesapeake by visiting www.hospicechesapeake.org
