Robert Eminizer Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Raymond Eminizer Jr., a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, who left us on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025. Robert was born in Brooklyn, Maryland, on Monday, February 8th, 1943, and was a lifelong resident of Baltimore, MD, where he touched the lives of many with his warmth and kindness. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Raymond Eminizer Sr. and Louise Eminizer. He is lovingly survived by his brothers, Donald L. Eminizer (Gail) and David G. Eminizer (Marci), along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and lifelong friend, Ron McDorman, all of whom cherish his memory and celebrate the life he lived. An alumnus of Baltimore City College High School, Ray went on to serve honorably in the United States Army from 1964 to 1966, dedicating his service as a military policeman with a tour in Germany. After his military service, he committed over three decades of his professional life as a lineman with C&P Telephone, which later became Verizon, retiring in 2001. Ray lived a life rich with interests and hobbies. An avid reader, he found joy watching war and horror movies, camping, and immersing himself in sports, especially his beloved Ravens. His passion for music was evident as he skillfully played country tunes on his guitar, drawing inspiration from Chet Atkins and Doc Watson. He also had a fondness for bagpipe music. Ray's dog, Raven, was a cherished companion, and they shared countless treasured moments together. A farewell service will be held at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, Maryland, on Friday, July 11th, 2025, at 12:00 pm, with visitation from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Immediately following the funeral, Ray will be laid to rest at Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Ray's memory to Tunnels to Towers by clicking HERE, Wounded Warriors by clicking HERE, the Alzheimer's Association by clicking HERE, or the American Cancer Society by clicking HERE. Ray's spirit will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all those who knew him, as we hold on to the precious moments and the impact he made in each of our lives.
