Stan Phillips Obituary

Stan Kelly Phillips Sr., entered the gates of Heaven, May 27th 2024 from esophageal cancer. He was surrounded by his children and family. He was 67 years old. Kelly was a proud husband, father and grandfather. Born in Washington D.C. on March 22nd 1957, he grew up in Chillum, MD. Kelly was a plumber and owned Phillips Plumbing and Heating for 35+ years. Kelly was a resident of Davidsonville for over 32 years along with his wife of 40 years until her passing in 2022.

He enjoyed riding motocross, fishing, jet skiing and was a passionate Washington Redskin fan. Kelly loved to cook and was an avid BBQ enthusiast. Kelly cultivated life long friendships and was beloved by many!

Kelly is survived by his two children; Shelly P. Dresser of Fayetteville, NC. Stan Kelly Phillips Jr. (Petra) of Davidsonville, MD. Five grandchildren, Madison M. Sweeney, Mason A. Giuffre, Noah J. Giuffre, Naomi R. Phillips and Stan K. Phillips III. Two sisters Patrica A. Hogan of Deerfield Beach, FL and Louise Cullen of Memphis, TN. One uncle, Jerry Phillips of Gaithersburg, MD. One aunt of Jo Anne Phillips of Silver Spring, MD. And, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his wife, Pamela M. Phillips, his parents; Eugene G. Phillips Sr. and Katie C. Phillips.
