I was shocked and sadden to hear the news about my dearly beloved friend. I met and knew Walter Wiggins from playing basketball at Howard University. Then, I started working at the US Small Business Administration and we connected again. When I first saw him, I said you are that crazy guy making all the noise at the games and we laughed. Walter was a dire hard sports fan and gave his heart and soul. I truly enjoyed his friendship and was always happy to see and talk to him. We have to keep his legacy going. While attending various games, I will make sure to "Pump It Up" in honor of the legendary Big Walt. Sending my prayers and condolences to his Wife and Family.
