Cynthia "Cindy" Howe Howard, 60 of Thalmann, passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022, at her residence following an extended illness.

Born in Brunswick, Ga., her parents are Mary Virginia Ross and the late Robert Wade Howe of Atkinson. Along with her father, she was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dave Howard and Lawana Howard.

Cindy worked 37 years as assistant manager for Winn Dixie and was a member of Glynn Baptist Church in Thalmann. She enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, watching the Dallas Cowboys play football, playing softball in her younger years and loved spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Aaron Howard of Thalmann; her son and daughter-in-law, David "Davey" Howard (Alicia); two grandchildren, Riley Howard and River Howard, all of Thalmann; her mother and stepfather, Mary Virginia Harvey Ross (Bob) of Atkinson; her sister, Sherri Clark of Thalmann; her stepmother, Melissia Chesser Howe also of Thalmann; her two beloved dogs, Buddy and Lady; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, at Glynn Baptist Church in Thalmann with the Rev. Wayne Williamson and the Rev. Doran Wommack officiating.

Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in Blount Crossing Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Harvey, Lamar Joiner, Brad Joiner, Bubba Williamson, Randy Herndon and Robby Clark.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lisa Isenhour and her Winn Dixie Family - past and present employees.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
