Jose Gonzalez Obituary
Jose Rafael Gonzalez Sr., 45, of Brunswick, died Monday at Southeast Georgia Health System, in Brunswick.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Blythe Island Baptist Church, with Pastor Tim Brown officiating.
Private burial will be held in Palmetto Cemetery.
Chapman Funeral Chapel & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

I had the privilege of meeting Jose' only a few times in recent months. He, of course, made me feel as though we'd known each other all our lives from the very first encounter. The second he walked into a room it became completely filled with his happy, light-hearted presence. It was contagious, and I believe, his gift...to all who had the honor to know him.

Jose's absence breaks our hearts. Oh how we miss his morning announcement..."Now I'm here to save the day!" There is a huge VOID left in his Crystal Pool family. We can only pray time is generous to quickly provide the peace we need.
We all looked forward to seeing him each morning. The breakfast he cooked each Monday morning for the weekly meeting created an event each of us looked forward to attending. Only Jose could get the eggs just right!
Jose, we love you and desperately miss your presence!
