Marilyn Forsythe Obituary

Marilyn Forsythe

Marilyn F. Forsythe, 83, passed away on Feb. 19, 2024.

Marilyn, better known as Lynn, was born on Jan. 12, 1941, in Antic, Massachusetts.

Growing up in Massachusetts, Lynn married Walter C. Forsythe (deceased) and was happily married for almost 60 years. Lynn was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was also a very successful businesswoman and later spent her retirement years with her beloved husband on St. Simons Island.

Recently Lynn relocated to North Carolina to be with her daughter and son-in-law. Lynn was a remarkable soul whose generosity, kindness and intelligence left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Lynn will be remembered not only for her remarkable intellect but also for the warmth and love she selflessly shared with those around her.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy Jennings; three grandchildren, Sarah Cauley, Lauren Cauley and Megan Baldwin; and one great-granddaughter, Abby Baldwin.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to The Georgia Alzheimer?s Foundation, P.O. 20226, St. Simons Island, GA 31522 or visit gaalz.org.

Evans Funeral Service and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
