Michael Mleko Obituary
Michael Lawrence Mleko passed away at home on Oct. 31, 2022, in Brunswick, Ga. He was born on Dec. 21, 1975, to Michael and Victory Mleko in L'Anse, Mich., and grew up in Fort Pierce, Fla.
Michael was a carpenter by trade. He was gifted when it came to making furniture pieces for family and friends. He had a wicked sense of humor. He was a loving son and brother. Growing up, Michael, Ronnie, Jerry and Larry were always together. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Victory A. Mleko; his stepmom, Shiela Mleko; grandparents, Ellsworth and Eleanor Darcy and George and Sally Mleko; uncles, Charles Mleko, Frances and Lawrence Darcy and Clyde Swartz; cousins, Shawn Mleko, Kimberly Mleko, Theresa Whitman, Thomas Mleko and Kelly Wholsheid.
He is survived by his dad, Michael S. Mleko; sisters, Tammy (Steve) Sholander, Suzanne Mleko, Michelle (Jeff) Maki, Vicky Lynn Mleko (Tony) and Christina (Steve) Demers; nephews and nieces; Joshua (Courtney) Sholander, Dylan Sholander, Shiloh (Alex) Crawford, Ronnie (Jennifer) Mleko Samantha, Nicole and Jenna Maki, Shaylin (Tyler) Cunningham and Zachary Demers; great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaiden Renfroe, Raelynn Grace, Colton James, Dylan Jr., Olivia, Noah, Cameron, McKenzie, Corbin, Christina and Christopher.
A service will be held at a later date.
