Charles Michael Stout

1950 - 2018

Charles Michael Stout, 68, of Conway passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was born February 23, l950, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Charles Stout and the late Katherine Stout. He was a member of University Church of Christ. Mike was a long time realtor and broker, home builder, and subdivision developer. He owned Stout Real Estate, later worked at Dunaway-Hart Real Estate, Pam McDowell Real Estate, and Coldwell Banker RPM Group. He served in many capacities with the Arkansas and National Home Builders and Faulkner County Board of Realtors.

He is survived by his two daughters, Michelle Odom (Brian), and Stacy Hammons (Rob); five grandchildren, Quinn and Cullen Odom, and Zac, Tyler, and Lexi Hammons; his father, Charles Stout; his sister, Susan Bell (Bob); his sister-in-law, Ann West (Mike); brother-in-law, Ross Dillion (Cindy); two nieces, Amanda Wofford (William)and Emily Ferris (Cody); one nephew, Drew Dillion; and two great nephews, John Wofford and Carter Ferris.

Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, and his mother, Katherine Stout.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 3rd, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home with visitation from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Mike and Carol Stout Memorial Miss Arkansas Scholarship (with donations c/o Miss Arkansas Foundation, P.O. Box 552, Brinkley AR 72021) and Arkansas Hospice (1105 Deer Street, Suite 10, Conway, AR 72032).

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Arkansas Heart Hospital, Home Instead of Conway, Heritage Rehab, and Arkansas Hospice for their loving care of Mike during these last days.
