Dale French Obituary
Dale "Linzie" French, age 80, of Perryville, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022. He was born on Feb. 21, 1942, in Deberrie, Arkansas, the son of Joseph French and Katie Davenport French. He was a supervisor for the United States Forest Service for 45 years. Linzie was a member of Nimrod Baptist Church and of the Blue Rock Gun Club. He shot weekly with his friends and loved to hunt.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Judy Woodward French of Perryville; daughters, Lisa (Brad) Hegeman of Conway and Sheila (Darrin) Swenson of Maysville, Arkansas; granddaughter, Jennifer (Preston) Kordsmeier of Conway; siblings, Billy Joe (Louise) French, David (Janice) French and Annette (Billy Ray) Prince; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and family. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Louann Dias.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Nimrod Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Harriston officiating. Burial will be at Nimrod Cemetery. Arrangements are by Harris funeral home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Online Guestbook: www.harrisfuneralhomes.net.
