May 20, 2022, beloved husband and father, Edward Stacy, passed away at the age of 51.
Edward was born to his mother, Ida Mae Stacy, on April 4, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated with an Associate degree from DePaul University, but was a man well versed in the school of life. From an early age spanning well throughout his life, he endured many tribulations but always prevailed, never letting his circumstances determine his reality. He was a true jack of all trades but specialized in flooring for many years. Being the very definition of a provider, he always went above and beyond to care for his family. Edward is survived by his wife, Maria; son, E.J.; daughter, Maleeyah; two brothers; and four sisters.
Edward was known for his wisdom and giving nature. Always pulling from what seemed like an endless reservoir of insight, he was one of those rare people that somehow knew exactly what you needed to hear at any given moment. Going beyond lending an ear, he without fail, would lend a hand in any opportunity that presented itself. From family to friends to strangers, all have gotten to experience the unforgettable kindness that encompasses the core of who Edward Stacy was.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Beaverfork Park Lake.
Services entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, 910 Walnut Street, Conway, AR. 501-327-1124 www.larry gacklinfuneralhomes.com

I met Edward when I bought a puppy from him. We chatted for a long time and then kept in touch. I shared pictures of the puppy as he grew. Edward was so friendly and a genuinely nice man. My son passed in June 2022, and I texted Edward. There was no response and I had a bad feeling. I know he will be dearly missed.
