Gary Lynn Bean, age 67, of Hattieville, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021. He was born July 17, 1954, in Morrilton, Arkansas, son of Jack Bean and Betty Bean. He was an avid outdoorsman and a member of Cadron Ridge Baptist Church of Conway. Gary loved a good cup of coffee, the middle piece of a german chocolate cake, camo, cologne, fried deer meat, and time spent with friends and family.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda "Mandy" (Tommy) Simpson of Mt. Vernon; parents, Jack (Betty) Bean of Morrilton; brother, David (Donna) Bean of Hattieville; grandchildren, Noah Simpson and Emily Simpson; niece, Amy (Jacob) Ledbetter of Springfield; nephew, Michael (Brooke) Freeman of Conway; devoted nephew, Matt Garrett of Prairie Grove; as well as much loved extended family and countless friends.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, at the Harris Chapel with Pastor Kyle Reno officiating. A private burial will be at a later date. My condolences to Gary's family on your loss. Gary was one of the first people I met after moving to Conway and we shared a lot of good times in the following years. I worked with him for many years and after moving away anytime we saw each other we could go right back to the good old days. RIP Gary.
