Georgia Merle Stone, 80, of Conway went to be with the Lord surrounded by family on Monday, Dec. 26, 2022. She was born Aug. 14, 1942, in Enola, Arkansas, to the late Monroe Asburn Taylor and Irma Ozella Taylor. Georgia was also preceded in death by her son, David Scott Noggle; and two brothers, Stansel and Jimmy Taylor.
Georgia is survived by her husband, Jim Stone; sons, Jeff Mason (Missy), Lewis Noggle, Shawn Williams (Amy); and stepsons, Jimmie Stone (Patti) and Randy Compton (Vonda); daughter, Nancy Eastham (Mark); brother, Clarence Taylor (Pat); sisters, Diane Morgan, Debbie Cole and Donna Wills (Jim); eight grandchildren; a special granddaughter, Emma Eastham; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Georgia was a Christian and was employed as a beautician for over 60 years. She enjoyed slot machines, sewing, crocheting, quilting, and traveling. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially taking her sons to rodeos when they were younger. Georgia will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Bro. Larry Grubbs officiating. Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery in Enola. Serving as pallbearers will be Shawn Williams, Lewis Noggle, Garrett Moix, Sawyer Moix, Ethan Davis, and Mitchell Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Noggle, Spencer Noggle, Lane Williams, Drake Williams, Nick Mason, and Clarence Taylor.
