Jerry E. Riggins, age 81, of Conway, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, in Maumelle. Jerry was born to the late Terry Wallace Riggins and Lavelle Kelly Riggins in Mt. Vernon on Saturday, July 27, 1940.

Mr. Riggins graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1959, where he played Point Guard on the basketball team. Jerry retired from Frigidaire after 42 years of service. He attended New Hope Baptist Church in Conway, for several years. Jerry loved keeping his cars clean, gardening, spending time with his family and traveling.

Left to cherish his memory are, his loving wife, Glenna Faye Treat-Riggins; five sons, Dennis Riggins (Cathy) of Vilonia, Alan Riggins (Denna) of Conway, Roy Treat of Conway, Troy Treat (Robin) of Vilonia, and Mark Treat (Tammie) of Greenbrier; three daughters, Sharon Lewis (Kurt) of Conway, Marsha Clark (Keith) of Marshall, and Mary Sitler (John) of Peach Tree City, Ga.; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Fayburn Riggins (Lynn) of Conway.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Ozell Riggins.

Visitation for Mr. Riggins is being held from 6 to 8 p.m. today Oct. 19, 2021, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway, Arkansas. Brother Roy Jutze will officiate.
