Robert Rupe Obituary

Robert Roy Rupe, 84, passed away on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011.
He was born to Finis and Barbara Rupe in Northview, Mo.
A veteran of the Korean War, he proudly served in the Army.
Robert was a family man who worked hard. He loved to play cards, enjoyed Bingo and never met a stranger. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of over 35 years, Ruby; his children, Robert Rupe, Jr. (Maureen) of Coca, Fla., Roberta Vasquez (Ralph) and James Rupe (Marie), both of Marshfield, Mo., Barbara Smith of Jefferson City, Mo., Jason Rupe of Wichita, Kan., Matthew Burgeson (Debbie) of Melbourne, Fla., Fred Burgeson (Donna) of Grandview, Texas, Bobbie Childress (Jerry) of Greenville, Miss., Judy Nelson (Tom) of Minneapolis, Minn., and Debbie Elliott (Matt) of Conway; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services, with military honors, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26th, 2011, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Funeral Home, 1751 Dave Ward Dr., Conway, 501-327-5000.
Burial will be private.
Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25th, 2011, at the funeral home.
