Stephen Louis Troillet, 79, passed away about 9 a.m. Wednesday morning. The fifth child and third son born to Anthony "Tony" Henry and Clara Mary (Worm) Troillet of Conway, he lived most of his life in the family home on 6th Street and was universally loved by all.
Stephen, 'Steve' to friends, worked at many places over the years, but mostly at the Baldwin Piano Factory in Conway until it closed. He attended first grade through high school in the St. Joseph school system and was a life-long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Stephen was a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus attaining 4th Degree status. He also was a member of the 1879 Heritage Society, a St. Joseph School endowment organization.
Stephen, a life-long bachelor, was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Anthony "Tony" Joseph Troillet and his wife Jean; sister, Mary Louise Minerd and her husband Bill.
He is survived by two sisters, Shirley Ann Wauer of Conway and Anita Kay Tucker of Atlanta, Georgia; four brothers, Edward Joseph Troillet (Betty) of Villa Rica, Georgia; John Michael Troillet (Carolyn) of Conway, David Bruce Troillet (Lucia) of Niantic, Connecticut, and Paul DeWayne Troillet (Sun Ok) of Tacoma, Washington; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be a visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas. A rosary will be held at 10 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway, Arkansas. Burial will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
