Danny Ray McCarter Jr.

Danny Ray McCarter Jr., 25, of Greenfield suddenly lost his life on January 28, 2011 at a Bay Area Hospital after a tragic incident. His family and a best friend were by his side. Danny Ray was born on October 28, 1985 in King City and lived in Greenfield with his father his entire life. Danny Ray graduated from High School in 2004. Danny Ray was a well liked and known person all over the Monterey County. He loved playing sports especially football and baseball. He really enjoyed spending time with his wife Anabel and her two daughters Jennifer and Lexi and his son Josiah. He also enjoyed hanging out with his longtime best friend Isaac Chan. Danny Ray is survived by his father; Danny Sr., mother; Tammy, sister; LaDonna and his grandmothers; Barbara McCarter and LaDonna Flores and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Danny Ray is preceded in death by his wife Anabel Trujillo McCarter and grand-father John McCarter Jr.

Danny Ray will be greatly missed by all.

A Service of Remembrance for Danny will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 7, 2011 at Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, 36 5th St., in Greenfield,Ca.

I was very sorry to hear about your loss. When I think of Danny Ray I still recall that young 5th grader running down the football field or bases at the ball park and his smile. Our deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers.

I knew Danny briefly, what I did know of him is that he was a great friend, easy going and caring person. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends.
