Jack Meyer
Jack Meyer, 72, passed away Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014. He was born July 4, 1942, in Santa Cruz.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Navy. He owned and operated Meyer Electric until his retirement in 2008. He then moved to McCloud but later returned to the Central Coast due to poor health.
Jack's interests were many, including genealogy, building willow furniture, reading, golfing, and barbequing. There wasn't anything he couldn't make, repair, or design and when asked for help or advice, he always gave his time.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandra Meyer; his two daughters, Lisa Kairos and Jacque Shipwright, and his son, Michael Meyer. He is also survived by his sister, Ardis Phillips and his brother, Joe Meyer.
Cremation will take place and a small private memorial will be held at a later date. His ashes will be interred at Pajaro Cemetery in Watsonville.
