Manuel Dancel Failano
Manuel Dancel Failano, 73, passed away peacefully Friday, May 13, 2011, at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born October 3, 1937, in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He moved to the United States in 1982. Manuel was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ (Iglesia ni Cristo).
Manuel is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lilia B. Failano; children, Marilyn F. Macatiag, Socrates (Flordeliz) Failano, Arnold (Rachel) Failano, Gemma F. Badanguio, Helen F. (Joseph) Betts; nine grandchildren, all of Salinas.
Visitation will be held Wednesday and Thursday, May 18 and 19, from 1 to 9 p.m., at the Healey Mortuary, 405 N. Sanborn Rd., Salinas, CA 93905.
Funeral service will be held Friday, May 20, 2011, 10 a.m. at the Healey Mortuary Chapel, followed by entombment in the Garden of Memories Cemetery Mausoleum, 850 Abbott St., Salinas, CA 93901. Arrangement entrusted to the Healey Mortuary, Salinas, www.healeymortuary.com
