Patricia Eliopoulos

(Elliott) Antonopoulos

Patricia Eliopoulos (Elliott) Antonopoulos, 88, entered into rest Thursday, January 12, 2012, surrounded by her large loving family.

She was born October 27, 1923 in Salinas, to Athan and Eoanna Eliopoulos. Patricia had three brothers, George (Jeannie) Elliott, and the late Leon (Sylvia) Elliott and Sam (Scotty) Elliott. She graduated from Salinas High School, and attended Hartnell College. She worked at Fort Ord from 1942 until her marriage to her beloved husband, Anargyros (Roger) Antonopoulos in 1947.

Patricia and her husband were married for more than 54 years until his passing in 2001. They moved to San Jose in 1952, living in Willow Glen where she remained until her death.

Patricia is survived by her four children, Stacy (Lambros) Panayotopoulos, Tom (Laura) Antonopoulos, Joanne Cox (Bob) Feldman, and Nick (Linda) Antonopoulos. She also leaves 13 grandchildren, George (Meredith), Argyri, (Stephania), Peter, Tina, Patricia, Dianne, Roger, Paul, Sam, Roger Lee, Jaclyn, Michael, and Nikki, and great-granddaughter, Marianthi.

Patricia and Anargyros were among the founding members of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Donations in memory of Patricia may be made to the St. Nicholas Church Building Fund and/or to St. Anna's Philoptochos, 986 Chapman St., San Jose, CA 95126.

Funeral services have been held.
