Yen Hock "Richard" Lee

Yen Hock Lee (Richard Lee), 83, of Salinas, passed away at home on Saturday, December 1, 2012, with his family by his side.

Yen was born on July 7, 1929 in Toisan, Canton, China and immigrated to the United States in 1947. He was a restaurateur and a longtime resident of Salinas. Yen was also an active member of the Suey Sing Association and the Salinas Chinese Senior Club.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Chow Lin Lee in 1988.

Yen is survived by his second wife, Mei Fang Lee; children, Curvin Lee, Gorton Lee, Landy Lee Lum, Wendy Lee; their spouses, Liberty Lee, Janice Chin, Marc Lum, Dominic Tarabochia; grandchildren, Laurissa, Bryant and Matthew Lee, Catherine Lee, and Logan, Lindsey and Ella Lum.

Visitation will be held 4:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Alta Vista Mortuary, 41 East Alisal Street, Salinas, CA 93901.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00pm Friday, December 7, 2012 at Alta Vista Mortuary, 41 East Alisal Street, Salinas, CA 93901.

Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott Street, Salinas, CA 93901.
