Dear Mrs. Taylor and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Taylor's passing. He was my chemistry teacher at Woodlawn High and one of the nicest people I knew. (class of '67)I often told my classes (42 years teaching high school) that Mr. Taylor taught me one of my most valuable lessons with his quizes on the periodic chart. That lesson was that sometimes you just had to do things you didn't really want to (like memorize that chart) because it was necessary. That's not easy to teach a teenager! He was never angry at us; he just never let us off the hook. He was a patient, tolerant, interesting teacher and man. May you and your family know he was much appreciated and we keep you in our thoughts and prayers at this time. Sincerely, Nancy (Robinson) Rosenbaum

I was so sad to learn that we have lost my favorite teacher. I am teaching my 20th year of science and I got my start working with Mr. Taylor at Princeton Senior High School. He was a model teacher, father, and husband. His influence continues to reach the students that I teach. I know that he is working in the Lord's garden now. Praying the family will dwell on the memories. Thanks for sharing him with so many children over the years.

Taylor Family,
Mr. Ivan will always be remembered by our family as a Gentle Giant, Mountain Farmer, Influential Educator and Leader. Mr. Ivan lead by example in everything he did. He placed God First, Family Second, Church, Community, Country and Farm Bureau Third. Mr. Ivan was a good and faithful servant with a wonderful partner in Billie as she constantly offered encouragement, words and feet to put Mr. Ivan's leadership into action. Even though we will miss Mr. Ivan's presence, we have confidence that he has met his maker and is no longer suffering here on earth. May God continue to bless the Taylor family.
