Theoa Nester Obituary
Theoa Vass Nester, 83 of Woodlawn, wife of the late Elmo Nester, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Hillsville Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Elder Lewis Vass and Dr. Larry Vass officiating. Burial will follow in the Goad Cemetery. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.

I have not lived in the the Carroll county area in almost 40 years. I’m really sorry to just now be hearing of Theo’s death she was a special lady. She pointed me in the direction my life should follow. I was a lost young adult and she encouraged me to follow my dreams! Thanks to her I was able have wonderful career in government service! May you Rest In Peace my friend!

I know her family. Her father and mother were great singers in church.. I always could hear Violet's alto voice. After she left us , I listened for Theoa's voice. She was a great person.
