In the early hours of Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, our precious Mom left us in peaceful sleep to join our Lord. Vivian Odell Burnette Alderman, 91 of Laurel Fork, was born on Aug. 23, 1933. The family received friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. The funeral service immediately followed at the funeral home beginning at noon with Rev. Howard Nester. Interment followed at the Sollie A. Alderman Family Cemetery in Laurel Fork. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
