David R. Holman

1968 - 2021

David R. Holman went to his heavenly home on April 20, 2021. David was born on August 8, 1968 to Joyce and Ray Dean Holman.
He was raised by his maternal Grandma and Grandpa Inman.
He was united in marriage to Marie Holman (Armijo) on September 14,1996. David was a loving husband, friend and the best father to his newborn son, Tristan.
He worked at Trinidad Municipal Golf Course doing maintenance since he was 13 years old and ran his own landscaping company on the side since 1998. David was loved by so many and he loved with everything he had. He was the hardest working man and was not afraid to get his hands dirty. Work was his passion, but he also loved fishing and hunting. Most of all David loved his wife and newborn son. From very rough beginnings he grew into a man that left a mark on his community.
He leaves a void that no one can ever fill.
David is preceded in death by parents, Joyce Holman and Ray Dean Holman; maternal grandparents, Frank and Evelyn Inman; paternal grandparents, Granville Stanley (Rosie) Holman and Tessie Holman.
David is survived by his loving wife, Marie; son, Tristan; sister, Tony Holman; brother, Franky Holman; mother-in-law, Mary Joseph; sister-in-law, Faye Armijo; sister-in-law, Mary (Robert) Davis; brothers-in-law, Victor Arnold, Donny (Lisa) Arnold, and Jimmy Arnold; uncle, Donald (Carol) Holman; many cousins, nieces, nephews and so many amazing friends.
David will be greatly missed!!
Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at 1pm at First Christian Church, with Pastor Cary Nelson officiating.
Persons wishing to do so may make contributions to the Tristan Holman Trust Fund, in care of First National Bank, 100 E. Main Street, Trinidad, CO 81082, to help raise David's newborn son. Arrangements made under the direction of the Comi Funeral Home.
