Ashlynn Niver Obituary
Ashlyn was born on October 30, 2011, in Punxsutawney, PA.
Ashlynn was an avid reader and a straight "A honor student" at the DuBois Middle School. She wrote and told many, many original stories. She loved telling jokes and playing practical jokes. She was a member of the flute section of the school band plus had private violin lessons. She loved the outdoors for biking, camping, zip lining, swimming, rock climbing, and fishing. AJ was a very imaginative soul who made dragon puppets then made Tik Tok videos playing out her creative stories. She was a prankster who enjoyed startling others but was easily startled herself. She often teased Papa about being bald (even though he isn't) then would tip his hat off his head and put it on followed by a belly laugh. She loved anything related to Transformers, scary movies, and had a huge plushy collection. She had many school and neighborhood friends plus a special cousin she would have over to our home for sleepovers making puppets, tie dyeing, roller skating, Fun Central, and shopping excursions.
She will be SADLY MISSED and forever DEEPLY LOVED by her many family members and friends.
Ashlynn made her home with James and Sharon Withers in Luthersburg and is survived by her siblings Dorothy and JoJo Seyler as well as a special Cousin Alison Wineberg.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
Although flowers are appreciated, the family requests that you make a contribution in Ashlynn's honor to the DuBois Area Middle School Band, 404 Liberty Blvd., DuBois, PA 15801.

Ashlynn was a close friend of mine before she moved away to the Dubois Middle school. She would always come to my house and hangout. We played Clue and watched movies. May Ashlynn Jean Niver rest in peace.

Ash Lynn was one of my very close friends at school, I would see her in band, PE, ect. I have a lot of friends, but she was one of many that I really would want to spent at lest 5 more minutes with. I miss her a lot. Now that it is the end of 5th grade, I will miss her even more.I wish she was her with me, us. I hope her family is doing better and I know that her friends miss her, but are ok. We will miss you AJ. You were always their when I was doing awkward.She was a very nice person, with a very close personality of mine. Her very close best friends, are Kennedy F, Sadie R, and Rylann C.

I did not know Ashlynn, but I was at the ER Triage Center when her mom came in. My heart sunk and you and your family have been on my heart and in my prayers ever since this tragedy. I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are being prayed for during this very difficult time. :(

I do not know you or your family. I just wanted to tell you all how sorry that I am for your loss. I cannot even imagine the pain that you must be going through. From what I read, she was a wonderful person that was very active in so many different areas of her life. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all through this difficult time. I don't know the family but I am so sorry for your loss. So sad that a child was tragically taken way so young. She sounds like she was a very well like young lady. I'm sure she will be missed and remembered by all. I Can't even begin to understand any of what happened. Your all in my prayers that GOD is there for you to lean on. God bless.

Don't know the family, but, want to send my condolences on the loss of such a young beautiful little girl who all that know here will miss her so much. Sounds like she had a happy and fulfilling life at such a young age and sad on how her life was cut short. May God be with your family during this difficult and sorrowful time.
