Delores Malewicz Obituary
She was born on October 5, 1942, the daughter of the late Chester Malewicz and Geneva (Malek) Malewicz. Her mother survives and lives in DuBois, PA.
She attended St. Joseph School and currently attended Fayette Resources Day Program where she made a multitude of friends and was loved by all.
Dolly is also survived by a sister Carol (Gus) Lewis of Pittsburgh, PA, a nephew Jonathan Lewis of Erie, PA, niece Jennifer (Jaison) Palermo of Pittsburgh, PA, great nephews Elliott and Max Palermo and great niece Alexandria Lewis. She is also survived by her extended family who has lovingly taken care of her for the past 10 years, Dan and Darlene McConnell of Punxsutawney, PA and her special friend Marlene. We are forever grateful for the care and compassion shown to Dolly over the years.
Dolly was a special person. She loved her polka music and never missed the 9 a.m. Polka Party on Sunday mornings.
Visitation for Dolly will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 3 PM – 5 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
Additional viewing from the funeral home will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Father Edward Walk as celebrant.
Burial will take place in St. Michael Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in Dolly's name to the Punxsutawney CPS Program, c/o Fayette Resources, 51 Developac Road, DuBois, PA 15801.
