Eileen Stephen Obituary
She was born on November 17, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late John and Mary Elizabeth (Ruffing) Roth.
On February 15, 1969, Eileen married Richard Stephen, he preceded her in death on February 4, 1986.
Eileen was a parishioner of St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church, Falls Creek and a member of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, DuBois. She retired after 33 years as secretary of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in DuBois and was involved in each and every activity that went on in both St. Joseph Church and St. Bernard Church. She also was a member of St. Joseph Rosary Society.
Eileen is survived by two daughters; Arlene Heilbrun (Rick Anthony) of DuBois, PA and Bonnie Himmel of Indiana, PA.
She is survived by four grandchildren; Megan (Brad) Porrin, Richard Heilbrun, Sarah Heilbrun and Ashley Himmel. Eileen is also survived by three great- grandchildren; Scarlett, BrookLynn and Sebastian.
Two brothers survive, Ed Roth and Jim Roth (Carolyn) all of Pittsburgh, PA.
In addition to her parents and husband, Eileen was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers; Mary, Jean, Evelyn, Harry, Ray and Bob.
There will be no public visitation.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 10:00 AM in St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church, Falls Creek with Fr. Edward Walk as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, DuBois, PA.
The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 108 N. Second St. Clearfield, PA 16830 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
