Juanita Kurten Obituary
Born on August 12, 1938, in Luthersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Kathryn (Dobson) Cramer.
On June 1, 1958, she married her husband of 67 years, George Kurten. He survives.
Juanita was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, doing puzzles, reading, bird watching, her flowers, her church, and her friends and family. She loved traveling the world with her Air Force career husband and their children. Juanita was a compassionate person and will be missed by everyone.
Along with her husband, Juanita is survived by her children, David Kurten (Susan) of Unionville, PA, Timothy Kurten (Erin) of Dillsburg, PA, and Judy Brown (Earl) of Linden, PA; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Leroy Cramer (Jackie) of Luthersburg, PA; and two sisters, Marilyn Buhite (Terry) of Reynoldsviille, PA and Wilma Anderson of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Clyde Cramer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 1-3 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. from the funeral home, with Pastor Ann Dixon officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross, 109 N. Brady Street, Suite 2, DuBois, PA, 15801.

As I knew her, she was my Aunt Juanita. My father, John Kurten, used to take me to many family events as a child and my Aunt Juanita was always there. I remember her always being kind to me, loving, and compassionate to me my entire life. I have just loved her my whole life thinking she would always be there because she has always been there. I wish I had done more to let her know how much she meant to me my whole life and now it is too late. My heart breaks for my family members that have lost their spouse, their mother, their grandmother. My heart goes out to my family and my heart is deeply saddened with the loss of my Aunt Juanita.
