Karen Vicklund Obituary
She was born December 15, 1969, the daughter of Joseph Matthews Jr. and Barbara (Worden) Matthews.
Karen always took care of her family and would take in anyone under her roof who needed help. She always put others before herself.
Karen was not only a mother to her children, but also a best friend. She was an incredible grandmother that loved her grandchildren dearly. Her laugh was contagious and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her companion of 10 years, Anthony Lane; two children, Bret Vicklund and wife Megan of Clearfield, and Kara Vicklund and fiance David Salcedo of Columbia, PA; two grandchildren, Makenna Vicklund, and Carson Vicklund; two sisters, Terri Bortz of Curwensville, and Jody Matthews of Florida; three brothers, Michael Matthews of DuBois, Steven Matthews of DuBois, and Brian Matthews of Clearfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 12 p.m.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
