Margaret Rhoads Obituary

Margaret "Patricia" (Seigworth) (Moore) Rhoads, a resident of Brookville, Pa., died in her home on May 1, 2017.
Born Dec. 24, 1928, in Strattanville, Pa., Patricia was the daughter of the late Clemens L. and Besse (Shaffer) Seigworth.
She graduated from Clarion-Limestone High School and Clarion State College, earning a B.S. and M.S. in elementary education. She taught school at C.G. Johnson School (Dubois Area School District) for 23 years.
Patricia is survived by three children, Diane Fagley, Kevin (Patricia) Moore, and Julia (Paul) Ferraro; seven grandchildren: Kelly Fagley, Kimberly (Chad) Davis, Lori (Ricky) Sharp, Paul (Kelly) Moore, Jeffrey (Blair) Moore, Alex (Allison) Ferraro and Emily Ferraro; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Fox and Linda Heasley; and one brother, Thomas (May) Seigworth.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers: Lloyd, William, Ronald and Fred Seigworth.
Memorial donations can be made to First United Methodist Church, 205 Jefferson St., Brookville, PA 15825 or Rebecca M. Arthurs Library, 223 Valley St., Brookville, PA 15825.
A private service and visitation will be conducted at the convenience of her family, and officiated by Pastor Dennis Johnson.
Interment will take place at Pisgah Cemetery, Corsica, Jefferson Co., Pa.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your loved one. Be assured that God feel your pain because he love and cares for you. May you trust in God at all times and pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for you. He will hear your cry for help and give you comfort. Psalms 61:1. Your family and friends have my deepest condolences.

Mrs. Rhoads was my 4th grade teacher in the late 70's at CG Johnson. She was so sweet and caring. I have always referred to her as my favorite teacher. I will cherish those memories forever.
