Nancy Smock Obituary
She was born January 27, 1934, in DuBois, a daughter of the late Farley and Lydia (Miller) Pierce. She married Frank Smock, who preceded her in death in 1959.
Nancy is survived by four children: Frannie Smock of Grampian, Cleora (Alan) McConnell of Brockway, Virginia Smock of Grampian, and Paula Smock of Reynoldsville; two sisters, Mildred Starr of Grampian and Jessie Ward of Falls Creek; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
After graduating high school in 1953, Nancy had worked at Brockway Glass for a few years before starting her family and becoming a stay-at-home mother and homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was also preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Catherine Nichols and Mabel Logan; and two brothers, Arther and Floyd Pierce.
A private burial was held on Tuesday at Beechwoods Cemetery with her husband. Arrangements were under the direction of the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois.
