Ruth Parrott Obituary
Born March 3, 1927, in Pontiac, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Enos and Blanche (Knapp) Steiner.
On August 17, 1946, she married Lawrence H. Parrott in Romeo, Michigan. He preceded her in death on October 18, 1998.
Ruth graduated from Romeo High School. She was a homemaker. Ruth was a member of Lakeside Methodist Church where she was active in the women's Lakeside Bible study. She was a volunteer at the hospital on Maple Avenue, a seamstress, and a lover of books.
Ruth is survived by four children, Lauri Lint, Erie, PA, Jayne (Gary) Magee, DuBois, David (Leslie) Parrott, DuBois, and Mark (Beverly) Parrott, Fairbanks, Alaska, 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her daughter, Ellyn Anto, brother, Jim Steiner, and sister, Betty McCutcheon.
All services are private and under the direction of the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
Memorial donations may be made in Ruth's name to the Lakeside Methodist Church, 420 1st St., DuBois or the DuBois Food Pantry.
