Shirleen Mitchell Obituary
Born June 22, 1953, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of the late Logan and Betty (Noble) Cribbs.
On March 22, 1986, she married Richard Mitchell in Daytona Beach, FL. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2018.
Shirleen graduated from Freeport High School. She worked for various trucking companies over the years and most recently DuBois Harley Davidson. Shirleen loved riding her Harley, reading, antiquing, trucks and spending time with family and friends. She especially loved her "Beasties".
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Nicole Mitchell, Brockway, and her siblings, Sandy (Darryl) Elder, Sarver, PA, Linda (Dave) Beatty, Grove City, PA, Larry (Linda) Cribbs, Cannonsburg, PA, Terry Cribbs, Valencia, PA, Beth (Sue) Cribbs, Sarver, and Leisa (Tom) Brothers, Sarver.
In addition to her parents and husband, Shirleen was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Cribbs.
There will be no public visitation. A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Brockway Presbyterian Church with Rev. Christopher McCloskey officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium in DuBois.
Memorial donations may be made to the Gateway Humane Society, P.O. 678, Falls Creek, PA 15840.
