Thomas Shute Obituary

Thomas ""Tom"" E. Shute Sr., 60, of Brockway, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Born on September 27, 1964, in DuBois, he was the son of the late Richard E. and Helen (Salizzoni) Shute Sr.

Tom was a high school graduate, worked construction for various companies in the area. He enjoyed drawing, building model cars and was a proud Navy veteran, he was enlisted from 1982-1984.

He is survived by two daughters: Nicole Shute of New York, Krista (Randy) Peace of Brockway; three grandchildren: Machaera Shute, Marcus Copelli, Maya Peace; three brothers: Richard (Rev, Nancy) Shute of Brockway, Tony (Matthew) Shute of Grindstone, PA and Jeffrey Shute of Brockway; two sisters: Debbie (Mike) Dahrouge of Brockway and Tami Shugars of Brockway; numerous nieces and nephews; and a beloved cat Poke.

Tom was preceded by his parents and a brother, Tim Shute.

All services are private.

Memorial donations may be made to donor's choice.
