Thomas Wright Obituary
He was born on August 24, 1931, in Sagamore, Pa the son of the late William and Mary (Ashbaugh) Wright. On December 19, 1973 he married Dorothy (Anderson) Wright, who preceded him in death on February 23, 2017.
Thomas was the former owner of Wright Trucking and Logging.
He was a member of Assembly of God in Anita, Brookville Eagles, Knoxdale Rod and Gun Club and the Brookville Masonic Lodge. Thomas enjoyed the outdoors- hunting, fishing and camping.
Thomas is survived by his three children: Tommy Wright and his wife Deb, Rick Wright and his wife WayWay and Linda Kirsch and her husband Wayne; three step children: Allen Yates, Richard Yates and his wife Debra and Nancy Yates; three brothers: Robert Wright, Ken Wright and Jim Wright and his wife Shelly; also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Thomas was preceded in death by a brother Donald Wright.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 at the Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Dan Cass officiating. Burial will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park.
