Charlotte Raby Obituary
Charlotte Susanna Raby, 85, of Modoc, died Monday, March 20, 2023 at Glen Oaks Health Campus, New Castle, where she had recently resided.
She was born in Decatur County on June 24, 1937 to Henry and Ellen (Welch) Snyder.
She resided in Connersville until moving to Modoc in 1966.
Charlotte was a former employee of York Casket Company in Lynn. She attended the Losantville Bible Study. She enjoyed music, dancing, gardening and word search puzzles.
Survivors include 3 children, Kenneth (Sherry) Raby, Janet (Scott) Johnson and Timothy (Victoria Rice) Raby; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 4 siblings, John William Snyder, Ruth Ross, Dorothy King and James Snyder.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Raby, in 1981 and 6 siblings, Genevieve Snyder, Edwin Snyder, Jeanetta Back, Norman Snyder, Catherine Phelps and Rose Ann Morgan.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 25, at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Services will follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Losantville.
Memorials may be made to Leukemia Society of America or Alzheimer's Association.
