I received amazing care from Robert. He helped turn my life around. Later I sent my son to him. They bonded over a love for basketball. I appreciated all he did to help my son. Prayers are with his family.

My deepest sympathies to Robert´s family and friends. My husband and I first met Robert a little over 20 years ago in Muncie. My son and one of my daughters also saw him for a time.
Personally, Robert's counseling helped me more than I can say when I was sad, overwhelmed and greatly needing redirection . Robert´s therapy approach with the use of CBT was so helpful. I will never forget him turning to the lamp and asking it what it thought...a quick reminder to focus and dig deep. He had the amazing ability to hold boundaries but yet be a "professional" friend. A few family stories from time to time were also heartwarming. I am so so sorry that he is no longer to share his expertise but I pray he is enjoying his ice cream. God speed Robert- prayers for your family and friends. You are missed.

My deepest condolences to Robert´s daughter, Aunt, family & friends. I can´t thank you enough for the opportunity to know Robert. I feel like I was blessed with his service.
I will tell you, he will likely always be my favorite person that´s not blood related. Taking him chicken dinners, I think a couple times he might´ve claimed me!
Robert was one in a billion! Over the years, he truly became my friend. My biggest regret for him, is he never got that book written. I´m sure others have heard him mention "Ohhh that was good! I´m gonna write that down & put it in my book!"
He was the most understanding, gentle giant~ that wouldn´t hesitate to hold you accountable when you were in the wrong! He also had a way of making everyone think about things from another perspective, & helped some relationships heal because of it. I´ll forever be grateful that I met him. He brought so much happiness & hopefulness to my life, I´ve had a tough time in the last week & a 1/2 just to accept reality.
Until we meet again, my friend

I want to give my thanks to his family for sharing him with me. I may have only known him a few months but in that time he became the light in the darkness for me. His aura just makes you feel welcomed and safe. He became more of a trusted friend than just a normal therapist. My condolences to the family and well wishes for your future.

Robert was a great friend and therapist! After his sessions, you would always leave with a word of encouragement that sticks to ur heart and drive away saying, wow, he is an extraordinary man who really loves God his family and his friends. My family and I will cherish his office visits and friendship. Til we meet again.

I only came across Robert a few times at counseling. He was the first person I met. However, he went out of his way to make me laugh. He acknowledged & complimented me. I could tell he was such a light.
