Wilbur Cross Obituary
Wilbur Lewis Cross, 86, of New Castle passed away Saturday, March 30, 2025 at Henry Community Health. He was born February 24, 1939 in Hagerstown to Aubrey and Lucille (Favorite) Cross.
Services at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2025 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow at Mt. Summit Cemetery. Visitation from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Parkinson Foundation, 14350 Mundy Dr., Suite 800 #181, Noblesville, IN 46060. You may express condolences or share a memory of Wilbur at www.hinsey-brown.com.

I'm sad to hear of Wilbur's passing. In my early days, he was my barber. I knew him later from his construction work and other business endeavors. He was always helpful and good company. He will be missed.

Good memories of my Dad taking me to the barber shop when I was a little guy and getting a haircut from Wilbur, Brownie or Phil. Then heading next door far a donut at Jacks donuts.
